Horizon Hobby was looking for a kiosk which would allow consumers to experience their new FS One Precision RC Flight Simulator software. The FS One software allows consumers take flight with any of the 30 aircraft depicted in the program. This software grabs the consumer’s attention by allowing them to take part in realistic flight dynamics and includes 20 photo panoramic flying fields and five 3D flying fields.
Results
"The results of placing the new simulator software were based on the notion of having an environment that could showcase the product to consumers. The FS One kiosk did just that, and FS One is the hottest new simulator on the market because of the added exposure it received in the retail environment with the kiosk. Horizon’s goals have been achieved regarding placement, and the kiosk serves as a residual opportunity environment to help showcase the product and any upgrades in the future. In short, the entire project was and continues to be a major milestone success for Horizon Hobby, Inc."
