Strategy
Nintendo of America was interested in creating an interactive display, allowing consumers to try out the new Nintendo dual-screen system. Frank Mayer & Associates, Inc. answered that call by creating an interactive floor and counter unit, unique in design. The floor unit is two-sided, enabling the consumer to interact with another player through a text messaging feature, or experience real-time wireless multi-player gaming. The counter unit is also interactive, and offers flexibility in placement for retail locations.
Results
Placed in retail electronic stores, the Nintendo DS units
increased sales for the product and generated excitement for the
product release.
