Strategy
Nintendo of America was looking for a unique marketing approach to allow consumers to experience the new Nintendo Wii Gaming System before the product launch. The Nintendo Wii Tour Interactive Display allowed Nintendo to take the displays to Wii Tour events across the US and played an integral part of Nintendo’s marketing campaign. The interactive displays allowed consumers to experience realistic game play of the new Nintendo Wii gaming system and its innovative technology by trying it for the first time.

Results:
The Nintendo Wii Tour Interactive achieved all of the objectives of the Nintendo marketing campaign. The interactive displays played an integral part in their marketing campaign and accomplished the goal of increasing excitement, anticipation, hype, as well as educating the consumer on the new technology.
